"Step out of the traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everything."

For a child has been born—for us! The gift of a son—for us! He'll take over the running of the world. His names will be: Amazing Counselor, Strong God, Eternal Father, Prince of Wholeness. Christ the Savior is born!

Experience Christmas Eve with us. Come worship and celebrate the birth of Christ.

7:30pm Sanctuary

Share the joy of Christmas with your family and friends at our dynamic traditional service featuring candlelight, communion, and Christmas carols harkening the birth of Jesus Christ.

CCSA Hunger Walk

Saturday, April 25

Supporters and friends of CCSA gather each year and walk a designated course to raise awareness about the plight of the poor and homeless in San Diego, and to demonstrate CCSA’s commitment to these needs. The goal is to raise vital funds for agency programs, especially with the increase of people in our community seeking help. Each year about 150-200 walkers complete the 4.2-mile course around the flat sidewalks at Mission Bay. All are welcome to participate in this annual worthwhile cause to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate, a serious challenge in today’s economy. Feed the hungry; clothe the naked. CCSA’s Hunger Walk is a small way to accomplish a big task. It doesn’t take much time but can have a very positive effect. Bring your family and friends and let them witness what being involved in a mission to help others is all about. It is a fun gathering that reaps many benefits. If you can't do the walk, you can sponsor a walker. Come and take the challenge. For more information, call Kathy Anderson at 453-0059 or see us after church at the signup table.

Whitman Elementary School campus clean-up weekend

Saturday, April 25 @ 8-12 AM
Sunday, April 26 @ 8-12 AM

Dear TPCC Family,

We have a great opportunity to serve Whitman Elementary School! They are holding a campus clean-up weekend on Saturday April 25 and Sunday April 26 from 8-12 AM on both days. They will be raking leaves, picking up trash, painting, staining and gardening. This is a great opportunity to serve as a family, small group or just on your own. You can choose to be there for any part of that time. All helping hands would be greatly appreciated.

Whitman Elementary is located in Claremont. The address is 4050 Appleton Street, SD, 92117. Appleton St. is the first right off Genesee after crossing Highway 52 going south.

I, unfortunately, will be out of town for the weekend but there will be friendly faces from the school and PTA to give you a job to do! You can just show up - but if you let me know that you are interested I will give them a list of names so they can be looking out for you. Please email me at sappsharilynn@aol.com.

It is a blessing to serve others!

All the best,
Shari Sapp
