CCSA Hunger Walk

Supporters and friends of CCSA gather each year and walk a designated course to raise awareness about the plight of the poor and homeless in San Diego, and to demonstrate CCSA’s commitment to these needs. The goal is to raise vital funds for agency programs, especially with the increase of people in our community seeking help. Each year about 150-200 walkers complete the 4.2-mile course around the flat sidewalks at Mission Bay. All are welcome to participate in this annual worthwhile cause to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate, a serious challenge in today’s economy. Feed the hungry; clothe the naked. CCSA’s Hunger Walk is a small way to accomplish a big task. It doesn’t take much time but can have a very positive effect. Bring your family and friends and let them witness what being involved in a mission to help others is all about. It is a fun gathering that reaps many benefits.
